Ryan Staub – President and CEO

Ryan Staub began his career as a serial entrepreneur in 1997. He has started and managed successful businesses in varied fields ranging from glass art to residential remodeling and construction, to residential and commercial property acquisition and management. He was among the last people to escape the Lahaina, Maui fires of August 8th, 2023. After experiencing the trauma associated with losing business, home and community, he decided it would be his new mission to help disaster survivors and founded Aloha Housing Help.

Matt Britt – Community Outreach Manager

Matt Britt is the Community Outreach Manager at Aloha Housing Help, dedicated to assisting those displaced by catastrophic events. A Maui resident for 35 years, Matthew lost his home and business in the August 2023 wildfires and benefitted from the FEMA Direct Lease Program. His personal experience fuels his passion for helping others rebuild. With a background in social work, he understands the deep meaning of home and empathizes with those facing hardship. Committed to serving his community, Matthew works tirelessly to connect individuals with housing and governmental assistance when they need it most.

Eric Shepard – Chief Technology Officer

Eric brings a wealth of diverse technical expertise to the team. Interested in technology at young age, Eric’s first professional endeavor was founding, and bringing to market, a GIS driven healthcare data analytics application. Afterwards, Eric worked in financial technology, in the banking and payments space, where working directly with Federal Reserve, became well versed in government compliance. Eric was named leader of the company’s emergency incident response team and holds a cybersecurity certificate from CalTech. He is thrilled to be applying his cumulative knowledge and experience towards community assistance disaster recovery.

Allison Burk – Chief Operating Officer

Allison began her carrier in Boeing’s Aerospace division focusing on government
contracts and compliance. In her 34 years of experience she has worked with various
government agencies including the DOD, FAA and various local and State agencies.
Allison also brings to the table 10 years of experience in residential property
management. Though she was not living in Lahaina during the fires, she was directly
affected and has worked tirelessly since August of 2023 connecting people and
businesses to the resources they need for recovery.

Stacy Parreno – Property Manager & Community Outreach

Stacy is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Florida with a deep commitment to serving those impacted by natural disasters. As a dedicated mom to athletes in figure skating and gymnastics, she understands the importance of discipline, hard work, and perseverance. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Human Services, Stacy is passionate about making a difference, especially after her own family was impacted by Hurricane Maria. This personal experience fuels her mission to support others and create lasting positive change, both through her real estate work and her ongoing education.
